The festival
Created in 2003, the Rio das Ostras Jazz & Blues Festival is a free annual festival that brings together jazz, blues and instrumental music on five scenes in the city of Rio das Ostras (Rio de Janeiro State). Its official website announces more than 30 national and international artists for its 22nd edition and recalls that the city bears the title of State capital of jazz and blues. The festival is part of the official calendar of events of the State of Rio de Janeiro since 2011.
