The festival
Conakry dreamed of being the capital of the 7th Art: the Guinean Cinema Show is the professional event where Guinean cinema is structured — panels, technical projections, training and networking. Ported by Phoenix Vision and its president Oumar Kourouma, in a dynamic in place since 2021, he held his 6th edition from 19 to 21 November 2026 at the CCFG, for the first time in tandem with the FIF Awards.
The theme says ambition: "Building a cinema industry in Guinea: cultural identity, infrastructure and financing", with Senegal as partner country and the city of Kindia as guest of honour.
