International Book Fair in Quebec City
The great spring book event, moving to ExpoCité · ExpoCité Fair Centre, Quebec, Quebec, Canada
The festival
The Salon international du livre de Québec, the SILQ, is the annual literary event of spring in the capital: five days of meetings with the authors from here and abroad, of dedications, of great interviews and of activities for all readers. The management presents it as "the most important spring event of the greater region of the National Capital": it welcomed on average more than 75,000 visitors during its last editions, and nearly 77,000 people in 2026.
