The festival
The San Diego Tijuana International Jazz Festival is a binational festival that plays jazz on both sides of the US-Mexico border. Its third edition, from October 1 to 4, 2026, unfolded on both sides of the border, with free concerts in Tijuana — coming back to Revolución Avenue — and scenes in southern California; the Binational Youth Ensemble of the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory was there alongside Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band, Mingus Dynasty and Danilo Pérez.
The City of San Diego proclaimed November 8 "San Diego Tijuana International Jazz Festival Day".
