Islanders' Cultural Week
Ten days of free access culture, reserved for Islanders · Île d'Orléans, Quebec, Canada
The festival
From June 20 to 29, 2025, Île d'Orléans lived at the pace of Islanders' Cultural Week: ten days of special activities and open doors offered by the MRC of L'Île-d'Orléans, in collaboration with the Regroupement des équipements culturelles de l'Île d'Orléans (RÉCI).
Particularity: access was free and reserved exclusively for residents of the island, proof of residence in support — an invitation to Orléanians to rediscover their own museums, heritage places and broadcasters, from Saint-Pierre to Sainte-Pétronille.
Good to know
On the programme 2025: free admission to the island's museum institutions and interpretation centres (Espace Félix-Leclerc, Maison de nos Aïeux, Maison Drouin, Manoir Mauvide-Genest, Musée maritime de l'Île d'Orléans, ÉCONOMUSÉE® du cassis chez Cassis Monna et filles), opening concert of Chamber Music in Sainte-Pétronille (Noémie Raymond-Friset and Philip Chiu, June 26), external performance Modus Comika at Espace Félix-Leclerc (28 June) and the comedy "3 sharks dans l'eau chaud" at the New Théâtre de l'Île d'Orléans (25–28 June). Limited quantities and reservations required for several activities. Project carried out under the Cultural Development Agreement (Government of Quebec and MRC of L'Île-d'Orléans).
