The festival
Born in 1962 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, in the city's former courthouse, the Shaw Festival became one of Canada's major repertoire theatres: each season, from April to December, its permanent troupe brings Bernard Shaw, the authors of his time and the voices of today on the downtown scene, to an audience of about 350,000 people per season. The 65th season will be held from March 31 to December 23, 2027.
You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
