The festival
The American Rock and Metal Temple: Every spring, the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival transforms the Historic Crew Stadium of Columbus, Ohio, into a guitar cathedral. By 2027, Iron Maiden led the dance, surrounded by A Perfect Circle, Primus and the Swedes of Meshuggah, who will celebrate their 40th birthday.
The Thrash veterans of Testament and Sylosis complete the metal slope, while The All-American Rejects, Switchfoot and Bowling For Soup are wearing the colours of alternative rock and pop-punk — and the respite comes from Mexico and Japan: the Trio The Warning and the Japanese band HANABIE. join the poster, with singer Kami Kehoe.
On 20 October 2026, the festival confirmed three more names: the British Bullet For My Valentine, reference of the metalcore, and the American bands Sleep Theory and Point North.
