The festival
The Carnival of Granada organized by the Spicemas Corporation, whose highlights open the month of August: Sunday Gras, finals of Soca Monarch and Pantastic Saturday dedicated to steelpan. Its traditional mas — Shortknee, Old Corps, Shakespeare Mas, Lady Lorraine, Moko Jumbie, Wild Indian — march through the streets, and the Carnival Queen contest is held at the National Cricket Stadium.
