The festival
In an Underberg farm at the foot of the Drakensberg, Splashy Fen gathers music lovers every year for a long Easter weekend in the open air. Created in 1990, it is the oldest music festival in South Africa: several scenes, hundreds of musicians, a craft market and camping under the stars make up its ritual. We come there with friends or family, for music as well as for the river and the nearby mountains. A happy parenthesis, with the open air of the KwaZulu-Natal.

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
