The festival

In Canso's small harbour, Stan Rogers Folk Festival — StanFest for the regulars — celebrates songwriters in tribute to Stan Rogers: three scenes, a camping campground that jams day and night and concerts throughout Guysborough County. The festival celebrated its 30th anniversary from July 20 to 26, 2026.
