Painting Symposium "A Fluff of Colors"
A heritage church transformed into a painting box, in the heart of Isle · L'Isle-aux-Coudres, Charlevoix, Quebec, Canada
The festival
In L'Isle-aux-Coudres, in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, the painting symposium "Une puffée de couleurs" held its 3rd edition from August 7 to 9, 2026 in an unexpected place: the church of Saint-Bernard, transformed for three days into a painting box in the heart of a living heritage. Up to 24 artists from Charlevoix and throughout Quebec exhibited, painted before the public and sold their works without commissions. In 2025, the symposium had 17 exhibitors and nearly 1,000 visitors.
