Party pies
Trépanier's pies, every fall weekend on the Old Chemin · Old Chemin (face to 120), Cap-Santé, Portneuf, Quebec, Canada
The festival
In Cap-Santé, Portneuf, autumn has a scent: that of the Trépanier family pies. Party pies, an event recognized by the City of Cap-Santé and born from an independent citizen initiative, installs its kiosk facing the 120, Old Way — the village's "premium of built heritage". A tribute to the cuisine that was made "in time" and to the human warmth, as the ancestral houses progress.
The reference edition 2026 was held on September 19 at Thanksgiving on October 12, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Good to know
At the kiosk: the unmissable apple pie, other pie weddings and the famous cream sugar of the Trépanier family; the pies are also offered at the Jeannette Trépanier Art Gallery during its opening hours. Formula established in 2022: every weekend from mid-September to Thanksgiving. Separate event of the Christmas Market of yesteryear (November, Place de l'Église) and the colorful Cap-Santé Symposium (June, Place de l'Église) — same village, three different meetings. No direct contact with the officially published event; the event is published and recognized by the City of Cap-Santé.
