The festival
Ubud literary festival, according to its official website, bringing together more than 150 authors, journalists, poets and thinkers from Indonesia and the region for more than 100 events: main programme, special events, masterclasses and cultural workshops in several Ubud venues. The 2026 edition, opened by a gala at the Puri Agung Ubud on October 21, was the theme "Samarasā: Awareness. Empathy. Action."
