The festival
Since 1978, the Vancouver Folk Music Festival has set up its scenes in Jericho Beach Park, facing English Bay and the mountains: folk, roots, world music and song, in a unique spirit of encounter — its collaborative workshops bring together artists of different traditions on the same scene. Its 49th edition was held from July 17 to 19, 2026, with Billy Bragg, Valerie June and Bia Ferreira, and is led by the Vancouver Folk Music Festival Society.
