The festival
At the gates of Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world, the Vic Falls Carnival makes the city vibrate with the sound of Southern African music. Born as a great New Year's Eve event, with its steam train and secret festival in the bush, it also, during recent editions, slipped towards spring and crossed the Zambezi to Livingstone, Zambia. We come there for the concerts, and we stay there for adventure: rafting, blasting and the spray of the nearby falls.
