The festival
In Shannon, in La Jacques-Cartier, winter has its festival: Winterfest, the city's winter festival, at the 73rd Road of Gosford Municipal Park. Its 16th edition, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, filled the day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.: sugar hut with 2,500 free pull sticks, slide for toddlers, inflatable games, firm, mascots, skill contests on the ice, then hike torchlights and 80's evening on the ice in the fence. Admission is free.
The next edition was held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
