Desertfest London 2027: Yob and Kylesa join the Melvins
Desertfest London unveiled a second wave of 18 names on Monday, October 19, for its 2027 edition, from May 21 to 23 in Camden: Yob, Kylesa — back after ten years of absence — and Windhand joined the Melvins, already announced at the top of the poster.
Kylesa's return, Windhand's premiere
Savannah's sludge heroes Kylesa will make their debut in Desertfest after a decade of silence. Windhand of Virginia will also play there for the first time, alongside Yob and Lowen. The full wave also includes Margarita Witch Cult, Bonnacons of Doom, Gurt, Ritual King, Cardiel, Druidess, Pink Fuzz, Blue Heron, Goya, Friendship Commanders, Stonus, Congulus, Occult Hand Order and Tellemehookah. The first wave had already brought together Monolord, Mantar, Inter Arma and the Montrealers of Dopethron.
Camden, capital of the riff
For three days, the festival has invested the rooms of Camden Town, from Roundhouse to the clubs of the neighborhood, to the stoner, the doom and the heavy psych. Weekend passes are on sale via DICE.
