Article no. 283 · Artists · October 29, 2026 · Festival TV

She now has her own film. 'Élue 111, the rising voice', the filmed portrait Festival TV devotes to the Burkinabè singer, has just landed on her official page: five minutes of stages, songs and confidences, presented by Muse. Settle in: the rising voice is meant to be watched — and heard — in one sitting.

It is official: Élue 111 has her own film. Festival TV has just released, on the Burkinabè singer's official page, the filmed portrait "Élue 111, the rising voice" — five minutes up close with an artist who is moving, song after song, towards the biggest stages. Presented by Muse, the presenter of Festival TV, the film is best watched in one go… and it leaves you wanting to watch it again right away.

Five minutes, four chapters, one voice

The portrait flows like a song. First, the roots: Burkina Faso, the land where her voice was born — and where she lives, writes and composes. Then the stage, her ground of truth: the film shows her in concert with her full band, "Fermez les bouches" live, "Téega wendé" at FESPACO 2023, and in an acoustic set at the 12 PCA evening. Then come her songs — the ones the audience calls for — and then her commitments and her horizons, all the way to Pink October, where she lends her voice to breast-cancer awareness. In five minutes, everything is there: the artist, the woman, the road.

Her songs are waiting on her page

Has the film made you hungry for music? Her official page brings it all together: the "Femme" and "Nougbiinga" videos to watch, and "Pag La Yiri", the song that carried her name far beyond Burkina Faso. Songs she writes and composes herself, released on her own label ELUE 111 PROD, with Samaya Production: Élue 111 holds her music in her own hands, from the first word to the last frame.

A meeting the professionals have already noticed

This portrait arrives at just the right moment. At the Rencontres Musicales Africaines — the REMA — in Ouagadougou, Élue 111 took part in Focus Burkina, and Festival TV met her there, microphone open, for the coverage of the event led by our Festival Explorer Mory Touré: her interview is one of the moments the professionals remember. The film "The rising voice" carries that meeting further: after the written portrait, here is the artist on screen — in concert, in song and in confidence.

So — shall we watch? The film is free to view on her Festival TV page. Watch it, listen to her songs, share it with the people around you — and follow her page: the rising voice has not finished rising.
