Noise Pop Festival 2027: Lambchop, Deerhoof and Modeselektor among the first 24 names
San Francisco's multi-venue festival joins the Festival TV catalogue. Its 34th edition runs from Thursday, February 18 to Sunday, February 28, 2027, and the first 24 artists have just been unveiled: Lambchop, Caroline Rose, Deerhoof, Modeselektor and Gibby Haynes lead the bill.
The whole city becomes a stage
In San Francisco, there is no field and no single stage: Noise Pop is lived from one room to the next, across 25+ Bay Area venues — Great American Music Hall, Grace Cathedral, Gray Area, SFJAZZ, the Castro Theatre. Born in 1993 as a single night of five bands, the festival became the pioneer of the multi-venue format: eleven days of independent music, 160+ artists and 80+ events.
The first 24 names, and already some special nights
The first wave, announced on October 20, brings together Lambchop — performing with the Free Key Choir at Grace Cathedral —, Caroline Rose at the Castro Theatre, San Francisco's own Deerhoof, Berlin duo Modeselektor and Gibby Haynes, who will revisit the Butthole Surfers repertoire. Also on the bill: Jess Williamson and Here We Go Magic, back on stage after ten years away.
Single-show tickets from October 23
Full festival badges, which open the doors to every show, are already on sale; single-show tickets go on sale on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 12 p.m. local time. Bay Area artists can also apply: the local artist submissions for the 2027 edition are open.
