BOULILA

Biographie

Boulila fuses the Gnawa tradition with jazz, blues, funk and afrobeat. The group began in 2016 in Montreal under the direction of Yassine Boudouch, first in a traditional vein, before evolving into a fusion outfit in 2019. Its breakthrough came with first prize at the Syli d'Or springboard competition.
