The king of the planetary tubes of the afrobeats, from Lagos to the world's largest arenas.
Davido, by his real name David Adedeji Adeleke, born in Atlanta and raised in Lagos, is one of the world superstars of the afrobeats. Since "Dami Duro" (2011), he has been running the tubes — Fall, If, FIA, Blow My Mind with Chris Brown — and filling the world's largest theatres, from the Madison Square Garden in New York to the European arenas.
He founded the DMW label and published Timeless (2023), the first album of an African artist to reach the top of the iTunes world record ranking, and then 5IVE (2025), carried by "With You" with Omah Lay, named at the Grammy Awards 2026. In June 2026, he was inducted into the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame in Atlanta.
