Biographie
A French singer-songwriter, El Gato Negro was born in the sound systems of Toulouse, the 'pink city', before travelling the Americas with his music. Baptised 'Gato Negro' by Andalusian gypsies and adopted by village griots in Burkina Faso and Mali, he performs solo on machines, vocals, flute and synths. His lyrics, written in French — poetic, raw, playful and deeply human — are at the heart of the project. The Club Balattou concert is presented as 'El Gato Negro & Friends', an International Concert.
