Biographie

La Piola is an Argentine folk group based in Montreal, founded by Ivan Tolj. The ensemble revives the sounds of the Río de la Plata and the littoral region in an authentic, contemporary interpretation: voice, flute, bass, bombo legüero, cajón and guitar carry rhythms such as milonga, zamba, candombe, chacarera and rasguido doble.
