Biographie

QuimbaSoul was born in January 2024, imagined by Colombian guitarist and singer Toto De la Ossa, who had just completed a master's degree in jazz in Montreal and wanted to reconnect with his Colombian roots. The group brings together Jeison Triana (bass), Elvis Guillot (drums), Juan Bautista (vallenato accordion) and Hanser Santos (percussion): an electric, vibrant sound deeply rooted in Afro-Colombian traditions.
