Biographie
A Montreal orchestra devoted to salsa and Latin music, Sabor 19 was born when two salsa-loving friends met in December 2017 at a Montreal dance night. The '19' stands for both 2019, the year the band took off, and Montreal's 19 boroughs. The orchestra brings together ten musicians from Haiti, Colombia, Mexico, Morocco, Turkey and Canada, and has performed at the Festival international Nuits d'Afrique, Salsa on St. Clair (Toronto), Salsa Tremblant and the Plains of Abraham (Quebec City). In 2025, the group released two original tracks.
