Thomas Fersen
A Parisian singer-songwriter, Thomas Fersen has written since 1993 songs populated by tender and farfelus characters, which have become classics of French song.
Biographie
Thomas Fersen was born on 4 January 1963 in Paris, a nursing mother and a bank employee father, in a family from Roanne. He received his first guitar at fourteen, played in punk-rock bands in the late 1970s, and published a first 45 laps, "Your Hero Jane", in 1988. His first album, "The Bird's Ball", appeared in 1993 and gave him immediate recognition. His songs tell stories and fables, often populated by animals, with work supported by games of words and rhymes. He has since published regularly, including "Fish Day", "Qu4tre", "Accomplicated Room of the Great Days" and "The Pavilion of the Crazy".
In 2025, he revisited his repertoire with the Trio SR9 in "The Queen's Choice".
