Tinariwen

Tinariwen's positive and verified news: concerts, outputs, distinctions and projects — the Festival TV editorial staff only has confirmed information in a spirit of celebration.

2027-02-28 — The triumphal return to Australia. After a full concert in 2024, the pioneers of desert rock returned to Australia in early 2027: the Sahara was invited to the other side of the world, and the tickets were already being ripped off.

2023-09-01 — "Amatssou", the desert meets Americana. Produced by Daniel Lanois, "Amatssou" marries Tuareg guitars with banjo and American violin: Tinariwen sings unity and hope, with this sweet trance that belongs to them alone.

2012-02-12 — A Grammy for "Tassili". Recorded in the Algerian desert, "Tassili" won Tinariwen the Grammy Award for the best album of music in the world: Tamasheq poetry dedicated to the top of the music planet.
