The Passerelle Volunteer Festival is the Festival TV platform that connects volunteers and festivals around the world. Festivals are short of volunteers — in Canada as well as everywhere. You register once, you choose your festivals and your posts, and Festival TV is doing the match: your application arrives at Festival TV, which compares it to the festival's needs before organizing the meeting. Each volunteer has his public presentation page — his proofs — and the meeting is organised by Festival TV.
An active intermediary, not an open directory. Three steps:
Create your volunteer profile: area, languages, skills, desired positions, targeted festivals, availability.
When you apply for a call, your application arrives at Festival TV , which compares it to the festival's real need (availability, mobility, skills, languages). Human decision, never an opaque score.
Festival TV organizes the meeting. Your contact information is only sent to the festival after your explicit agreement.
Missions near you or around the world, depending on your mobility: your city, your region, your country, the international, or remote.

The Global Directory of the Gateway: Voluntary Festival Programmes, National Platforms, Local Centres and Youth and International Networks that recruit volunteers — looking for volunteers by country, city, type, domain, period and language. These are organizations and networks, never lists of people: no external volunteers are listed here. To become a volunteer with an organization, everything goes through Festival TV: register once below, we do the matching, then we organize the meeting. The official volunteer page of each organization is given as a reference, in complete transparency; the sheets marked "To be confirmed" are being checked.

No contact information is displayed here as anywhere on the Gateway: for a match, submit your request in the form below — Festival TV does the matching and organizes the meeting, with the consent of the volunteer.
Volunteers and festival directors or organizers are found live in the dedicated "bridge" room of the Festival TV: questions, advice, behind the scenes of the parties. We enter with a free pseudonym and we discuss — there is no private messaging: the connections always go through the Festival TV matching.

Yes: Volunteer registrations and festival requests are open. Each match is made by Festival TV after matching — meetings are built through the festivals verified and open calls.
For volunteers: nothing — registration and applications are free. For festivals: recruitment is part of the offer of the Village des Pros; Premium festivals have immediate access to the base and the free distribution of their calls.
Your public volunteer page shows your photo, presentation, targeted positions, targeted festivals and proofs (photos, videos, publications). Your contact details, real address, date of birth and ID are NOT public: they remain side by side Festival TV , for verification and matching. Contact always goes through the platform.
In two steps: (1) you confirm your email with the 6-digit code sent to your address (check block above); (2) only if an assignment so requires, your ID – requested at that time only, with its written reason – is reviewed by the Festival TV team. Until validation is done, your page displays "Current Identity Check"; the "Checked Identity" badge appears only after validation by Festival TV.
A live discussion room, on the Festival TV, reserved for exchanges between volunteers and festival directors or organizers: questions, advice, behind the scenes. You enter with a free nickname — there is no private messaging: the connections always go through the Festival TV matching.
Yes, depending on your declared mobility. A mobility preference is not a travel authorisation: visas, insurance and local conditions remain to be checked for each mission, with the festival.
Festival TV receives your request, checks your festival (catalogue sheet, official website) and your mandate (justifying), then matches with registered volunteers and organizes the meetings. If your festival is not yet in the catalogue, its verified sheet is created.
