Rules of the game — general conditions
- The stay is free : the host offers a sleeping accommodation, the guest has nothing to pay for the accommodation.
- Festival TV made only the connection : Festival TV is not a party to the stay, or to any agreement between the host and the guest, and does not guarantee people or accommodation.
- The contacts are never displayed : exchanges go through Festival TV until the reservation is fully clear in the system.
- The host retains all its obligations: short-term lease when required by law, local rules, any taxes.
- By posting an ad or sending an application, you agree to these terms and conditions. Full text presented and accepted (check box) before any ad publication.

Ask for a bed
Choose an ad, your dates (in the festival window) and present yourself. Your request will go to Festival TV , which relays it to the host. No coordination is exchanged until the reservation is fully clear in the system. A Festival TV account is required.
📍 Share your itinerary with a loved one : area address, dates and name of your host — a relative must always know where you are sleeping.
Blocking that person — the lock shuts down all contact and our team is notified. In Festival TV email, the same button blocks with one click.
Open your door
A sofa, a guest room, a corner of the land? Offer a bed free of charge your announcement specifies the area (never your exact address), your photos (6 minimum), the distance to the festival — and your host assets: car, permit, availability, local guide.
Do you have a short-term rental licence (e.g. CITQ registration in Quebec) ? Display your accommodation free of charge your declared license appears with its status — declared, then verified after documentary check, never otherwise.
Trust and security
- Already registered with Festival TV? If you already have a sheet in our ecosystem (artist, pro, volunteer, festival...), activate your profile DodoFest with a security code sent to your folder already to email Your existing card is attached to your proven account, without redoing the entire file. If any parts are missing from your file, they remain required before publication.
- Real profile photo : each host and guest loads his own profile photo — it appears on the profile and advertisements, for the credibility of all. Never a photo taken elsewhere without the consent of the person.
- Mandatory identity check Before any announcement is published and before any confirmation of reservation: official room (passport or driver's license), telephone, exact address of the accommodation and — for the host — a recent invoice with the address. These rooms remain Internal : never public, reserved access to the team, limited conservation, deletion on request.
- "Verified Identity" badge only after manual validation by our team — never automatic.
- Contacts protégés No exact address, no email, no phone in the ads or public responses. Everything goes through the Festival TV relay.
- During the stay The emergency numbers of the festival country are displayed on the page of your stay (above, as soon as an ad is chosen); share your itinerary with a relative; the "Block this person" button closes all contact in case of a problem.
- Position claire Festival TV is only connected — no monetary transactions take place on the platform, Festival TV is not a party to any stay and does not guarantee people or accommodation. The host keeps its legal obligations (licence when required, local laws, taxes).
