The festival

Party in the Paddock is Tasmania's biggest camping music and arts festival: an independent festival born as a gathering of friends, now the summer rendezvous of a whole generation of Australians. It takes place at Quercus Park in Carrick, on the banks of the Liffey River, in the north of the island the Palawa people call Lutruwita. Four days of concerts, immersive art, comedy and campsite life, carried by an ethos of inclusion, sustainability and local culture.

Good to know

The 14th edition, from February 4 to 7, 2027, brings together more than 90 acts across six stages. Hilltop Hoods close on Sunday, Gang of Youths and Violent Soho — back after a four-year hiatus — headline Friday, Ninajirachi tops Saturday and The Jungle Giants open on Thursday. More than 20 Tasmanian acts are on the bill. The 2026 edition set a record with 14,000 festival-goers.

Your images are worth Festivos

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
