Party in the Paddock 2027: Hilltop Hoods, Gang of Youths, Ninajirachi and the Return of Violent Soho
Tasmania's biggest camping festival has just unveiled its 2027 lineup: more than 90 acts from February 4 to 7 at Quercus Park, with Hilltop Hoods closing the show and Violent Soho returning after four years away.
Party in the Paddock has lifted the veil on its 14th edition. Tasmania's independent music and arts festival returns from Thursday February 4 to Sunday February 7, 2027 at Quercus Park in Carrick, on the banks of the Liffey River, with more than 90 acts on the bill. The island's largest multi-day camping festival has built its reputation on lineups that punch well above its size, and the 2027 poster is no exception.
The program reads day by day. The Jungle Giants open proceedings on Thursday on the Vibestown stage, alongside Hermitude and Ecca Vandal. On Friday, Gang of Youths and Violent Soho share the main Paddock stage: for Violent Soho it is a comeback, the Brisbane band ending a four-year hiatus. Saturday belongs to Ninajirachi, the rising star of Australian electronic music, alongside Lime Cordiale and Holly Humberstone. And on Sunday, Australian hip-hop institution Hilltop Hoods will close the festival, with G Flip and Missy Higgins.
The rest of the bill mixes proven names and discoveries: Don West, Ladyhawke, Odd Mob, Playlunch, Rum Jungle, Emily Wurramara, Stand Atlantic, MAY-A, Fanny Lumsden, Becca Hatch, Nina Las Vegas and Lambrini Girls. More than 20 Tasmanian acts are on the program, true to the festival's loyalty to its local scene. One triple j Unearthed artist and one special guest are still to be announced.
Party in the Paddock is also much more than concerts: six stages and spaces — Paddock Arena, Vibestown Arena, Bigtop Dance Tent, Silvertongue Stage, The Bullpen and Little Island Stage — immersive art, comedy, live podcasts, drag, cabaret, markets, yoga and even a mechanical bull. The festival is open to all ages, and children aged 12 and under enter free. The 2026 edition drew 14,000 festival-goers, a record in the festival's history.
Tickets go on sale in two waves: pre-sale on Friday October 23, 2026 at 8am, then general sale on Wednesday October 28, 2026 at 8am (local time). Three- and four-day camping packages, entry-only tickets — new for 2027 — single days and the Club Paddock VIP upgrade are available on the official website. The festival's full page, with its day-by-day lineup, is on Festival TV.
