The festival

One of Australia's most popular folk festivals: since 1977, the Port Fairy Folk Festival has been vibrating the seaside village of Port Fairy, on the southwestern coast of Victoria, at about 3:30 a.m. in Melbourne. Music overflows with scenes from the Southcombe Park Arena in the streets, gardens and rooms of the historic village — concerts, workshops, street shows and the open Fiddlers Green scene.

A community-based, non-profit festival, led by a volunteer committee, rooted in Peek Whurrong lands.

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation.
