Reggae, dub, dancehall · Benicàssim, Spain
The Rototom Sunsplash is the largest reggae festival in Europe. Founded in 1994 in Italy, it moved to Benicàssim, on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, where it gathers the reggae family for one week each month: Main Stage, Dancehall, Dub Academy, African Village, Reggae University and Social Forum. Recognized by UNESCO as the flagship event of the International Decade for the Culture of Peace, it makes reggae an art of living as much as music. The edition 2026, the 31st, is held from 16 to 22 August 2026.
