The director
A journalist and cultural presenter by trade — he worked at Cherie FM Guinée, of the ALO Media group — and a cultural entrepreneur, Bouba Angelo splits his professional life between Orléans and Conakry. He is the CEO and Director General of ELITE COM Guinea, the company organizing the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne, where he is also the project lead. In parallel, he heads the publication of Afroguinée Magazine, an online cultural media outlet dedicated to Guinean news and culture.
ELITE COM Guinea
A communications and events company based in Conakry, ELITE COM Guinea organizes the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne, the ceremony celebrating the artists and professionals of Guinean music. For the 8th edition, in 2026, the company is opening a new chapter: the Salon de la Musique Guinéenne, the professional gathering of the VDMG.
The Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne
The Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne (VDMG) honor the people who make Guinean music. The 8th edition is being prepared for 2026, under the aegis of Guinea's Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts. The first dated step: the Salon de la Musique Guinéenne, on December 15 and 16, 2026 at the Centre Culturel Franco-Guinéen (CCFG) in Conakry, on the theme "AI in the service of Culture: Impact and Opportunities for Africa" — conferences, masterclasses, practical workshops, an expo and showcases, with free admission. Festival TV is following the VDMG road: "Guinean artists, get ready: the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne are coming!"
Afroguinée Magazine
Bouba Angelo is also the publishing director of Afroguinée, the online cultural media outlet telling Guinean news and culture from Conakry.
