In Amsterdam, the Reggae Lake Festival rocks the Gaasperpark
The Netherlands' biggest reggae festival joins the Festival TV catalogue. Since 2016, the Reggae Lake Festival has turned Amsterdam's Gaasperpark into a capital of roots and dancehall every summer.
34,000 visitors by the lake
Two days, six stages and around 34,000 visitors in 2025: by the Gaasperpark lake in south-east Amsterdam, the festival lines up reggae legends and new scenes in a big popular-party atmosphere.
Culture and Joseph Hill's legacy
On August 16, 2025, the group Culture brought back 'Two Sevens Clash' and the songs of Joseph Hill, who died in 2006: his son Kenyatta Hill has led the group on stage ever since, alongside Albert Walker and Telford Nelson.
