Bonnaroo takes a year off: The Farm is re-healthing in 2027
It's a news that is a big hit for festivalgoers: there will be no Bonnaroo in 2027. The organizers announced this on August 21st: the Tennessee festival marks a one-year break to leave its site, "The Farm", to recover after trying years. A courageous choice, which Festival TV salutes.
It must be said that the weather is on the rise on Manchester, Tennessee: in 2025, the floods forced the cancellation of the festival after a single day of music; 2026 was also shaken by the storms. Rather than falling head down, C3 Presents and Live Nation chose to consolidate the ground, rethink the infrastructure and return stronger — the home motto, "Radiate Positivity", applied to their own farm.
Since 2002, Bonnaroo has been a legend of the American camping festival: four days of music in the middle of the fields, a community art of living, sunrises on tents and this certainty that the party can be both immense and benevolent. Its usual period — mid-June — will remain empty in 2027, and it is an ecosystem of fans that holds its breath.
On our side, we learn the lesson: behind every mega-festival, there is a living, fragile place that you must know how to protect. Rest well, The Farm — Festival TV will be there to tell you about your return!
