Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival: Birmingham sets the date, July 9-11, 2027

The major jazz, funk and soul festival in Birmingham entered the Festival TV catalogue. Its 16th edition made Moseley Park vibrate from 10 to 12 July 2026 — with Guinean Falle Nioke on the poster — and the 17th is already set: from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 July 2027, tickets on sale.

A woodland glade, a lake, three days of groove

In Moseley, no concrete plain: the festival has been settling in an eleven-acre forest clearing since 2010, just minutes from the centre of Birmingham. The slope of the park forms a natural amphitheatre in front of the lake: three days of jazz, funk and soul, between legends and new voices, workshops and street food, with Jazz FM live from the site.

2026: Soul II Soul, Thee Sacred Souls… and Falle Nioke

The 16th edition, from July 10 to 12, 2026, brought together Soul II Soul, Jordan Rakei, Cymande, Sampa The Great, Jalen Ngonda, Thee Sacred Souls, Goldie and Hot Chip. On Saturday, Guinean Falle Nioke — the only Guinean programming artist, and an artist from the Festival TV catalogue — carried his colours on the scene of Moseley Park, in front of the crowd in the sun.

On to the 17th edition

The date is set: the 17th edition will take place from Friday, July 9 to Sunday, July 11, 2027, once again at Moseley Park. Tickets are already on sale, from £53 and with payment plans; the line-up will be unveiled in the coming months.
