Nights of Light: the Château de Vincennes tells history in projections until November 8
A medieval castle, 14 luminous stages and a spectacle that makes the centuries unfold on the stone: the Nights of Light transform the castle of Vincennes into a book of history with open air, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays evening until November 8, 2026.
It is a walk of about an hour and a half, at nightfall, in the enclosure of the castle of Vincennes. From 15 October until 8 November 2026, the Nights of Light The course is 14 stages in which light, sound and projection dress up the highest medieval tower in Europe and its buildings.
From d'Artagnan to Josephine Baker
The highlight is the King's Pavilion: "From d'Artagnan to Josephine Baker", a historic show signed by the HAASKR collective, carried by Emmanuelle Devos and fed by the archives of the Historical Defence Service. The course also includes "Le Grand Mix", signed inook. The entrance is made by the Tour du Village, avenue de Paris, a stone's throw from the Château de Vincennes metro station.
The hours are adapted to the season: from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. until October 24th, then from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. for the end of the race — nights fall earlier, magic begins earlier. For families in the Paris region as well as for visitors passing through, it is one of the beautiful ideas of the autumn's release: a monument that we thought we knew, to rediscover in light.
