Rio Loco: Toulouse, world music capital, sets its dates for June 9–13, 2027

Created in 1995 on the banks of the Garonne, Rio Loco joins the Festival TV catalogue. Its 31st edition, ‘Insulae’, filled the Prairie des Filtres in June 2026; the next, ‘Noctiluca’, is announced for June 9–13, 2027.

Five days on the banks of the Garonne

Concerts, children’s shows, visual arts and DJ sets: every year Rio Loco composes a musical journey around a theme, in Toulouse’s great Prairie des Filtres park. In 2025, more than 71,000 spectators turned out.

2027: ‘Noctiluca’

The 32nd edition will explore the cultures of the night, from June 9 to 13, 2027. Run by Le Metronum, the festival confirms its place among Europe’s great world music gatherings.
