TREEFORT 2027: 180 ARTISTS TAKE OVER BOISE!

Some cities you just pass through, and others that, five days a year, become an open-air stage. Boise, the capital of Idaho, is one of them. From March 31 to April 4, 2027, the Treefort Music Fest plants its 15th edition right in the heart of downtown: an urban, multi-venue festival where you drift from one concert to the next along the streets, from one discovery to the next, wristband on and ears wide open. No muddy field, no single stage stretching to the horizon: here, the party is lived on foot, walking in, walking out — the whole city becomes the playground.

And what a way to blow out its fifteen candles! More than 180 artists have been announced, hailing from 18 countries. The first wave alone is dizzying: Modest Mouse, beloved veterans of American indie rock, Thee Sacred Souls and their sweet California soul, Orville Peck, the masked cowboy who shook up country music, Courtney Barnett, the Australian rock songwriter with the irresistible deadpan, Jesse Welles, Slow Pulp and horsegiirL. A lineup that blends generations, genres and continents — exactly the kind of playground where, between two headliners, you stumble upon the band that will be obsessing your headphones for a year.

Because that is the magic of a multi-venue festival: the unexpected. You walk in for a familiar name, and you walk out in love with a stranger heard by chance in the venue next door. For fifteen editions now, Treefort has cultivated this art of discovery, in the heart of a city that happily lets itself be taken over by music — and by the people who make it.

Artists of our community, lend an ear: according to the information available, artist submissions for this 2027 edition are said to still be open until November 22, 2026. A window not to miss for anyone dreaming of playing in Boise — and a fine hunting ground for our Tremplin d'artistes, our artist springboard, which loves seeing talent from home try its luck on stages around the world.

So, shall we meet in the spring of 2027? Between the first concert on March 31 and the last night on April 4, Boise promises five days where music is discovered on foot. Festival TV is keeping its eyes — and its ears — wide open.
