Around Koundara, the villages bassari and coniagui form a living cultural landscape, inscribed on the UNESCO indicative list. In these mountain villages in north-western Guinea, the traditions of initiation and masks remain alive and still rhythmic the collective life. The meeting is made with the inhabitants, respecting their rules and their time of ceremony. It is one of the most singular cultures of Guinea, to discover accompanied and without haste.
