In Kourosa, the river Niger — the Djoliba — is still only a young river in Upper Guinea, not far from its source. Its banks live at the rhythm of canoes, fishermen and lavender trees, and sunsets are a daily spectacle. It is the natural place of walk of the city, between calm water and the life of the riverside areas. A simple and beautiful stop to feel the river that will then cross all of Mali and Nigeria.
