The festival

Born in 2016 by the Gaasperpark lake, in south-east Amsterdam, the Reggae Lake Festival has become the Netherlands' biggest reggae festival: two days, six stages and around 34,000 visitors in 2025, between roots legends and new dancehall scenes. On August 16, 2025, the Jamaican group Culture, led by Kenyatta Hill, revived the songs of his father Joseph Hill there.
