Two addresses, one family, one taste for celebration: Le Bled Resto-Lounge, the African table of Saint-Denis Street steps from the Quartier des spectacles, and Marché Le Bled, the African and Caribbean grocery of Jean-Talon Street East. Official partners of Festival TV — and the festival-goers' addresses in Montreal.

An authentic African restaurant with a tropical flavour, Le Bled Resto-Lounge stands out, in its own words, through "its subtle blend of tradition and modernity" — "one of a kind and a must in Montreal". In a warm, colourful setting with live music ambience and shows as diverse as its clientele, its cooking travels through the lands of the Mandé, the Peuls, the Bantus and the peoples of the Sahara — and of course Europe and North America.
Two dining rooms — which also host themed events: birthdays, office parties, business meetings — and a terrace overlooking the Latin Quarter, ideal for a meal and a drink in summer. Its official page presents its nights as those of the "village de l'Afrique": you dine there, you dance there, you watch the big matches and the shows, late into the night on weekends.

The family's second establishment: "Grocery and dibiterie, charcoal grilling. Cosmetics." At 755 Jean-Talon Street East, near the Jean-Talon Market and the station of the same name, Marché Le Bled — "Africa · Caribbean · Quebec", says its sign — gathers the aisles of African and Caribbean cooking: drinks, fruits and vegetables, pantry staples, dairy and eggs, frozen products, tubers, hygiene and cosmetics, and an online shop.
Its dibiterie grills over charcoal: lamb dibi, whole braised chicken, skewers and their sides — alloco, African beignets… The grocery where you stock up for festival week, from dinner among festival-goers to the big family meal. The Market also lives the culture: its official page presents it as a partner of Miss Guinée Canada and a sponsor of Canadian tours by African artists.
All summer, downtown Montreal plays a few streets from Le Bled: the Festival International Nuits d'Afrique makes the Quartier des spectacles beat in July, the Montreal International Jazz Festival and the Francos open the season, and Just For Laughs fills it with laughter. The festival-goers' reflex: provisions at Marché Le Bled, dinner and the night at Le Bled Resto-Lounge — then the stages, on foot.
Partnership status: official — Le Bled (Resto-Lounge and Market) is an official partner of Festival TV; its logos appear in the house partners panel and lead directly to its official websites.
