The new cinema in Montreal is now in its final hours. The 55th edition of the Festival du nouvelle cinéma ends on Sunday, October 18, after eleven days of premieres, discoveries and wild cinema. It is the last chance to fill your festival passport with the films everyone will be talking about this winter.

At Jean-Drapeau Park, Piknic Électronik is finishing his season. On Friday, October 16, OfF Piknic is dancing on Île Sainte-Hélène in concert mode; and Sunday, October 18, it's THE last Sunday of the 2026 season — the one that made Montreal vibrate from May to October, from the family Sundays of Petit Piknic to the world's leadings. After that, the platinums are set... and the Montreal winter is back on its feet, waiting for Igloofest!

Meanwhile, in Cape Breton, the Celtic Colours International Festival plays its closing concert "30 and Thrivag" on Saturday, October 17 in Sydney — the end of a 30th historic edition.

Three festivals, three provinces of heart, one promise: Festival TV makes you live the party, in real time, wherever it beats.

Your images are worth Festivos

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
