Salon de la Musique Guinéenne 2026
The professional meeting of Guinean music · 15 and 16 December 2026 · CCFG, Conakry
The Salon
Alongside the 8th edition of the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne, the Salon de la Musique Guinéenne brings the whole Guinean music ecosystem together for two days at the Centre Culturel Franco-Guinéen in Conakry: 15 stands, conferences, masterclasses, workshops, B2B meetings, an exhibition and showcases every evening.
Its ambition: a professional meeting place of reference to build the capacities of Guinean and African cultural players, encourage exchanges and promote talent. It welcomes artists and creators, producers and managers, cultural institutions, investors and partners, media and the general public — to train in digital tools and artificial intelligence, collaborate with local and international players, showcase Guinea's musical heritage and attract investment into the cultural and creative industries.
The programme
Two days, two highlights: Tuesday 15 December looks at vision and industry; Wednesday 16, at creation and opportunities.

AI & media strand: journalists' television in the digital age
The Salon's theme is AI serving Culture. Festival TV proposes to put it into practice, with a workshop for journalists and cultural communicators and a Salon television made before your eyes, with a phone and artificial intelligence. Strand proposed by Festival TV — times and format to be confirmed with the organisers.
The workshop: AI and the processing of cultural information
Led by Moïse 1er, founder and director of Festival TV (75 minutes). Which tools? Which approach? The prompts that make the difference to prepare an interview, verify information, write for radio and television, translate, summarise a panel and publish fast without losing rigour. Every participant leaves with their own prompt kit.
- Why now — what AI changes in a cultural newsroom; what it does not replace: the field, verification, the journalist's eye.
- The toolbox — conversational AI assistants, interview transcription, voice and dubbing, royalty-free original music, video editing on a phone: a demonstration with the tools Festival TV uses every day.
- The prompts that make the difference — preparing an artist interview, turning a press release into a 30-second radio flash, summarising a panel in 5 points, writing for television, translating into English, adapting for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
- Hands-on — participants cover a Salon session and produce their piece live; the best ones air on the Festival TV studio.
- Ethics and law — official sources, copyright and image rights, the “AI-assisted content” disclosure, and the traps of information invented by AI.
The Festival TV studio of the Salon
Across the two days, a light television set — a phone, a microphone, the Festival TV backdrop — gives the floor to speakers, artists and exhibitors: 2-to-3-minute express interviews right after their session, 30-second “Info direct” flashes published the same day, and the “JT du Salon” at each day's end, the day's essentials in a few minutes, broadcast on festivaltv.tv and Festival TV's social channels. Journalists registered for the workshop can take part and watch the method applied in real time.
