Huntington closed the fall in celebration: Long Island Fall Festival held its four days
From October 9 to 12, 2026, Heckscher Park hosted the Long Island Fall Festival, Huntington's great fall event: giant carnival, more than 200 exhibitors and music all weekend from Columbus Day.
The greatest fall, says Long Island
The festival is claiming the title of the largest festival of autumn in Long Island and the Northeast: the carnival of Newton Shows, the Chapin Rainbow Stage scene, an international cooking court, a beer, wine and spirits pavilion, the Sunday meatball eaters competition and free magic shows for children.
A whole county case
Organized by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce, the event is free of charge — only the rides are paid — and provides a four-day life for the park and the village, from Friday evening to Monday of Columbus Day. The next edition will be announced by the House.
