JOHANNESBURG, CARRIER OF THE WORLD — and two Canadian artists on stage! ACCES 2026 opens its accreditations, from October 28 to 31!
Imagine a city where, for four days, each concert hall becomes an embassy: we talk about contracts, tours and copyrights in the day, and in the evening we discover the sounds that will make the planet dance tomorrow. It's ACCES, the big pan-African music market — and its edition 2026 arrives in Johannesburg.
Music In Africa, which produces the event with the City of Joburg, has opened the call for accreditations for the media from around the world: radio, television, print and online — the deadline, 15 days before the event. The appointment is scheduled from October 28 to 31, 2026. New format this year: ACCES Industry Nights, with more than 80 musicians in showcases in Johannesburg venues such as The Artistry, Untitled Basement, The Forge and Jozi Gold. Leading the showcases festival, Friday, October 30: South African star Sun-El Musician.
Canada is celebrating! Two Canadian artists are announced on stage, Kelly Bado and Kizaba, alongside representatives from Ghana and Zimbabwe — and the conference's discussions will include strengthening the links between the Canadian and African music industries, with Canadian stakeholders on the program.
