Ségou'Art 2027: Niger River opens its scene from February 1 to 6
The 22nd edition of Ségou'Art – Niger Festival will be held from Monday 1st to Saturday 6th February 2027 in Ségou, Mali. The biennial festival opened its call for applications for music until 22nd November 2026.
The return of the river giant
After a year without an edition — the festival was spent in the biennial in 2025 — Ségou recaptures its scenes from the banks of Niger, Da Monzon and Biton, its contemporary art salon, its tales and its canoe race. The International Fair of Ségou, 22nd edition, also opens the ball on Saturday 30 January 2027 at the Quai des Arts.
Musicians can apply
The call for music applications from the 22nd edition is open to artists and groups from Mali and around the world until 22 November 2026: form, press kit, live performances excerpts and factsheet are to be sent to the Festival Foundation on Niger. The selected artists will play on the two major scenes of the river banks.
A historical partner of Festival TV
Created in 2005 by Mamou Daffé, the Niger Festival is one of the oldest partners of Festival TV: from 2006 to 2014, our teams covered it with post-edition edition, during the time of the festivals tours of West Africa. Festival TV asked to return to Ségou in February 2027 to tour an episode of Festival Explorer.
