Québec (Beauport) — About a dozen kilometres from Old Quebec, the Montmorency River rushes 83 metres — some 30 metres longer than Niagara Falls — into the St. Lawrence River. SEPAQ Park approaches it from all angles: cable car, panoramic staircase of 487 steps, bridge to the top and, in winter, the famous "sugar bread", the ice cone formed by the sprays at the foot of the fall.
